The Farthings Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy of our service users and all other people who are in contact with the organisation. When you request information from us or sign up to any of our services this privacy notice sets out why and how we store and use this information.
What information do we collect about you?
We will collect data to help us deliver an effective service and provide you with the information or service you require from us.
How will we use the information about you?
We will use the information about you to administer the activities or programmes that support you. We may pass the information about you to third parties only when it is necessary for the effective delivery of our operation. If we work with a third party we will ensure your data is also protected by them. We will not disclose any information about you to any organisation which is not associated with our activities unless required to do so by Law. We will store your information securely on our computer system and restrict access to those who have a need to know.
Marketing
We might want to send you information about our work and if you have consented to receive marketing material you may opt out at any future date.
Access to your information
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. We want to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date so you may ask us to correct or remove information that you think is inaccurate.
Retention of data
Our retention policy is used to define how long we hold information about you after you are no longer involved with the Foundation. In some cases we may securely retain your data up to 3 years (or 3 years after a child reaches the age of 18) if we are required to do so for insurance purposes or another appropriate reason.
Cookies
